3 stars (Yeah, the graphics are nice but its not that fun....) - Unless you cheat like a Cacodemon, otherwise you get killed quick. This expansion pack takes the award for the Fastest Killing of a Player, less than 3 minutes. The only game that is as bad is the first Aliens Vs. Predator game. I bought this dark game at the discount bin of my local game store, thinking that it would be more interesting (or fun) than the original game (which I played all the way to the end, cheat-cheat-cheat). I was expecting something like a more intense version of Serious Sam but it plays alot like Resident Evil. In contrast, Half-Life 2 was alot more fun to play - despite its Police-State registration process. Doom 3 needs to be more fun and less Funhouse. 5 stars (Better than the original) - This game is 10x better than the game it came with. Get this game and you will experience doom! The level designs are more interesting and frightening. The action is faster and makes you think quick. Much Much better than regular doom3. 4 stars (A Step Up for DOOM 3) - Better overall. Smooth install. Better weapons. The Artifact is fun to use. Faster and more variable levels. Just when it starts to get too tedious (and it does), some element of the game significantly changes and it's more fun again. Only a few problems to solve during the game. There was nothing particularly amusing about this game, no real levity, and I never really felt like my monster fighting skills were improving from level to level. Neat graphics though, claustrophobic environment, better blasting satisfaction, but for me...no real immersion. For a WORLD GONE MAD, goofy and imaginative, visually very interesting, often really creepy, a "how the hell am I supposed to do that", blast 'em to pieces, WHOA kinda game.... PAINKILLER :) ... 3 stars ( The Great Divorce ) - As C.S. Lewis' books go I think that this is not his best book by far. I would recommend reading some of his other works before this because if I had not of known of his amazing writing I would have forever considered him a terrible writer after reading this book. 5 stars (Truly Inspired!) - In this brilliant work of fiction, C.S. Lewis brings amazing clarity and light to universal truths that we can all identify with, but few of us ever fully grasp. I have gained a whole new perspective on a question that has, thus far, plagued my Christian walk: "Why is it that something that is so clear and painfully obvious to a Christian, is so extremely difficult to convince to an unbeliever?". As plainly as Truth stares us in the face, it's difficult to comprehend why others so easilly overlook it, while vituperating us "brain-washed" Christians. After reading this book, I am finally beginning to better understand the paradox. The truth is that, on some level, everyone sees the Truth. Many are just unwilling to let go of what they have come to embrace in this world. The meaning they have been able to build for themselves, and control on their terms, has become more presious to them than the Truth, and more desirable than true Joy. If their chosen lives were taken away from them, they would be miserable with Truth. One line from the story sums it all up. It comes directly after the most oft quoted phrase from the book ("...Thy will be done."): "All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell.". This is NOT to say that Evangelism should stop. By no means! We just need to learn when it's time to stop and move on to another. We can't make the choice for them. We are called to sow. Only God can tend the soil... OUTSTANDING book!!! 5 stars (I love this book so much I keep giving it away.) - This is one of my favorite books of all time. 5 stars (In love with Devil's Bride) - I picked up this book at a garage sale but I immediatly fell in love with it. The characters were witty and fun. The plot was strong and I couldn't put the book down. Honoria and Devil were perfectly matched and it was always great to see them interact, with each other as well as the other characters in the book. The only bad thing I have to say about the book was the murderer was rather obvious to me from the beggining but the book was still great fun to read. I would recoomend it to anyone and everyone! 5 stars (The first and THE best of the Bar Cynster novels) - What a great way to start the Cynster series! I absolutely loved this book and couldn't put it down. This is a great introduction to the Cynster family, especially those disgustingly handsome and sexy Bar Cynster cousins. As soon as I finished reading this, I bought the other 5 Cynster novels because I wanted to know what happened with the rest of the Bar Cynster. Devil and Honoria are my favorite Cynster couple. Devil is just to die for and Honoria is the perfect match for him. He is rakishly handsome and so arrogantly sexy. He is strong, devoted to his family and, of course, he is the Duke of St Ives, the leader of the notorious Bar Cynster and the most eligible bachelor in the ton. As for Honoria, she is the strongest and most interesting of the Bar Cynster wives - not to mention the most stylish and sophisticated. The part in the book where someone mentions that she was born and bred to lead the ton and take on the role of the family matriarch couldn't be more true. When reading the succeeding books, I couldn't help but measure up the other heroines against Honoria, and couldn't imagine any of them in the Duchess' role. I love the interaction between those two, and the way they slug it out during their heated exchanges is very entertaining. It is always delightful to read about them in the other Cynster books, in fact, I'm always looking forward to th...
